How to find your lost or misplaced iPhone, iPad or Mac

With the IOS5 and the iCloud service, it is very easy to find you lost or misplaced  iPhone, iPad or Mac.

All you need is to download and update the latest IOS 5.x on your iPhone, iPad or Mac, while rebooting, it will promt whether you want to "Set up iCloud", say Yes, don't worry it won't cost you anything. Sign in with your Apple ID and follow the onscreen instructions.

Once you have completed the iCloud setup, it will prompt whether you want to sign up for "Find My iPhone.". Say "Yes", I can assure you someday it is going be very handy.

Incase you have already installed IOS5 and not actiavted it, you can go to System Preferences>>iCloud and enable find my iPhone/iPad/Mac

How to find your lost or misplaced iPhone, iPad or Mac?

1. Go to
2. Login with your Apple ID

3. Select the device you want look for and find the location

4. You can not only locate your devide, you can send a message or play sound, lock it remotely and even wipe your data, if you insist :-), Just click on the information button (the round blue "i" you see on the block strip) and select your option.
