Make your own Meusli (musli in swedish), it is tasty and healthy.

As a Sunday project and part of my dieting endeavour, I have tried to make my own muesli. Here is the recipe

200 gms – chopped and mixed walnut and almonds
6 dl –  Oats
2 dl – Sunflower seeds
1 dl – flax seeds
5 tbs – oil
3 tbs – water
2 tbs – honey
3 dl – dried fruits like, raisins, apricot or any kind of berries

Heat the oven 225 °C. Mix  together the oats, sunflower seeds,flax seeds and chopped nuts.  Add oil, water and honey to the mix and mix it well with your hands.
Spread it on a baking tray evenly and bake it for around 10 to 15 minutes. Turn it around once in a while to avoid burning of the top layer.
Remove from oven  . Once cooled down, add the dry fruits and mix well.  Store in dry containers in a cool place. Enjoy your healthy and tasty break fast…  with milk or yogurt and your home made Muesli.
